    A docket highlighted by several drug cases will be heard during the July-August term of the Grenada County Circuit Court.
    The summer session begins Monday at 9 a.m. at the  Grenada County Court House with Judge Clarence E. Morgan III presiding.
    Grenada County Circuit Clerk Linda Barnette said the term is expected to last through Aug. 17.
    “This will be a busy session,” she said
    According to the court calendar, among the cases scheduled to be heard is a case against Lakendal Katrice Barnes for possession of cocaine with intent to sell, transfer, distribute or deliver, and sale of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, second or subsequent offender. Kevin Horan will be representing Barnes.
    Another drug case scheduled for Monday is James Felton Bell, charged with possession of cocaine, second or subsequent offender. Johnnie E. Walls Jr. is representing  Bell.
    The case of Iretha Hill, charged with sale of hydrocodone, a Schedule III controlled substance and sale of Alprazolam, a Schedule IV controlled substance, is also scheduled for Monday. Leon Johnson is representing Hill.
    Other cases for Monday’s session, according to court records:
  • David Dubard, charged with burglary of a dwelling, felon in possession of a firearm and aggravated assault. He is represented by R.T. Laster Jr.
  • Willie Coffey Jr., charged with aggravated assault, habitual offender, possession of firearm by felon, habitual offender and possession of stolen firearm, habitual offender. He is represent by Johnson.
  • Dennis James Eckstein, fleeing law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle. He is represented by Laster.
  • Amber Feagin, fraud in connection with state or federally funded assistance programs (food stamp fraud). She is represented by Laster.
  • Tikia Monique Willis-Goldman, charged with 10 counts of uttering forgery. She is represented by Johnson.
  • Brian Ledger, credit card fraud and fraud by mail or other means of communication. He is represented by Laster.
    Cases involving burglary of a dwelling, burglary of an automobile, grand larceny and felony driving under the influence are also scheduled to be heard Monday, the docket shows.
    Cases are also scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday.
    No court is scheduled for Thursday, and appeals are scheduled for Friday, Barnette said.

Yeah you better get them while you can.....because where our country is headed, it's won't be long until drugs are legal. The US is quickly becoming...Sodom & Gomorroh!

If they are proven guilty throw the book at them Judge Morgan. PLEASE don't let the guilty ones off with a slap on the wrist.

We've got a food stamp fraud charge, huh? See, that's what's the problem with our government assistance programs--too many people getting the handout when they don't need it or because they lied on the application.
