REV. JIM W. REYNOLDS
1945-2012
MILAN: Rev. Jim W. Reynolds, formerly of McKenzie, died Friday, June 1 at his home in Milan. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5 at Gibson Baptist Church. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery on South First Street in Milan.
Rev. Reynolds was born March 11, 1945 in McKenzie to the late Mr. and Mrs. Alton Reynolds. He was a retired Chaplain Major of the U.S. Army and a Baptist minister. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary W. Reynolds.
Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy Reynolds; and three daughters, Elizabeth McIntosh, of Bolivar, Sarah-Katherine Reynolds and Meredith Reynolds, both of Milan.
Bodkin Funeral Home in Milan was in charge of arrangements.

CAROLYN SUE JOHNSON
1939-2012
MCKENZIE: Carolyn Sue Johnson, 72, died Thursday, June 7 at Grace Healthcare of Franklin. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie McDaniel officiating. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was born November 21, 1939 in Trenton to the late William Bell and Lula Mae Pugh Delaney. She was a retired garment factory worker at Henry I. Siegel Company and a member of Tumbling Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, James D. Johnson, of McKenzie; two daughters, Belinda (Kerry) Gann, of Murfreesboro, and Crystal (Kenny) Lowe, of Columbia; and four grandchildren.

JILL KATHERINE SPRING HANKS
1976-2012
ATWOOD: Jill Spring Hanks, 36, died Saturday, June 9 after a long struggle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Gearins’ Chapel Cemetery near Greenfield. Visitation will be on Wednesday at Bodkin Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until services.
Survivors include: mother, Retta Spring; father, Steve (Cindy) Spring; husband, Roy Hanks; child, Morgan Spring; a brother, Jeff (Marjorie) Spring; two nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

KATHERINE “KATHY” TAYLOR
1947-2012
PARIS: Katherine “Kathy” Taylor, 64, of Paris, died June 5, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 9 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Collins and Bro. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial followed at Henry City Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was born September 3, 1947 in Henry County to the late Walter Haskell Bowden and Ruby Lee Boatwright Bowden. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Henry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony Clayton, and a brother, Paul Ray Bowden.
Survivors include: husband, Noah Ray Taylor, of Paris; daughter, Marcia Lynn Prince, of Paris; son, Jerry Burton Clayton, of Henry; one sister, Toni Kaye Bowden, of Paris; three brothers, Walter Steve (Debbie) Bowden, of Henry, Larry Wayne (Shelia) Bowden, of Henry, and Charles Ray (Sherry) Bowden, of Paris; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

LLOYD MIKEL NUTTING
1949-2012
HENRY: Lloyd Mikel Nutting, 62, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rex Buford officiating. Burial followed at Old Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Nutting was born November 21, 1949 in Paris to the late Lloyd Nutting, Sr. and Bernice Mikel Nutting. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James Brotherton.
Survivors include: wife, Emily Jackson Nutting; two daughters, Patty Jo (Dan) Seymore, of Waverly, and Aleesha Nutting, of Henry; a sister, Wanda Brotherton, of Bruceton; and three grandchildren.

HUNTINGDON: Jayce Anthony Parker died Sunday, June 3 at McKenzie Regional Medical Center. He was born with infant sister Kennady RaeAnne to parents Justin Bernard Parker and Alyssa Michelle Malacara, both of Huntingdon, on June 3 at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
Other than parents, survivors include: a sister, Kaylin Roberson; maternal grandparents Kathryn and David Addair, of Huntingdon, and Miguel and Diana Malacara, of West Dundee, IL; paternal grandparents, Cleveland and Jennifer Parker, and Angela and Kalton Willis, all of Lexington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

HUNTINGDON: Kennady RaeAnne died Sunday, June 3 at McKenzie Regional Medical Center. She was born with infant brother Jayce Anthony to parents Justin Bernard Parker and Alyssa Michelle Malacara, both of Huntingdon, on June 3 at McKenzie Regional Hospital.
Other than parents, survivors include: a sister, Kaylin Roberson; maternal grandparents Kathryn and David Addair, of Huntingdon, and Miguel and Diana Malacara, of West Dundee, IL; paternal grandparents, Cleveland and Jennifer Parker, and Angela and Kalton Willis, all of Lexington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

CHARLES EDWARD LANKFORD
1924-2012
PARIS: Charles Edward Lankford, 88, formerly of Bruceton, died Thursday, May 31 at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services were Sunday, June 3 at Sulphur Wells Church of Christ.
Mr. Lankford was born on March 6, 1924 in Huntingdon to the late Mr. Clarence Willie Lankford and Mrs. Alice Marinda Perry Lankford. He was a member of Sulphur Wells Church of Christ, a WWII Navy veteran, and a member of the Masons. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Lankford, and a granddaughter, Elaine Gomez.
Survivors include: two daughters, Leslie Marie Clark, of Key West, FL, and Valerie Anne Gomez, of Paris; a son, Loran Allen Lankford, of Novi, MI; a son-in-law, Ralph Barber; a sister-in-law, Janet Lankford; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

GRACIE JANETTE FULLER
1947-2012
MCKENZIE: Gracie Janette Fuller, 65, of McKenzie, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Memorial services will be conducted at her son’s home from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16.
Mrs. Fuller was born February 25, 1947, in Carroll County to the late David Anderson and Vernie Beals Anderson. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by: four daughters, Brenda Jones, of McKenzie, Teresa Burton, of Lexington, Misty Hays, of Huntingdon, and Crystal Mcknelly, of Gleason; one son, Landis Eubanks, of McKenzie; three sisters, Wanda Edwards, of Gleason, Virginia Swafford, of Indiana, and Shirley Kemp, of Atwood; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Dilday-Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

JOEL EDWARD GORDON
1955-2012
HUNTINGDON: Joel Edward Gordon, 56, of Huntingdon died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Burial followed in Humbles Cemetery. Rev. Clinton Webb officiated the service.
Mr. Gordon was born June 29, 1955 in Carroll County to the late Matheolia Gordon and Willie Sue (Hampton) Gordon, who survives. He was a factory worker for Nestaway Company and retired from the Army National Guard after 27 years of service. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Hampton.
He is survived by his mother, Willie Sue Gordon; four daughters, Tonya (James) Choyce of Riverview, FL, Christie Gordon of Huntingdon, Netisha Gordon of McKenzie, and Sharee Gordon of Martin; one son, Nicholas Gordon, and one step-son, Ricky Butler, both of Huntingdon; five brothers, Michael Gordon, Charles (Jackie) Johnson, both of Huntingdon, Robert (Carolyn) Johnson of Lexington, Andre (East) Johnson of Nashville, and Corey (Kim) Johnson of Huntingdon; two sisters, Linda Willis of Huntingdon, and Jeanie Mayes of Atwood; 11 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

IVY EUGENE LEWELLING
1932-2012
HUNTINGDON: Ivy Eugene Lewelling, 79, of Huntingdon died Monday, May 28, 2012, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Billy Ringold and Bro. Chase Sanders officiated the service.
Mr. Lewelling was born November 20, 1932 in Clarksburg to the late Iva Vinson and Virginia Elizabeth (Barnett) Lewelling. He was a retired painter and a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Elsworth Lewelling.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen (Walker) Lewelling, and one son, Greg Lewelling both of Huntingdon. He also leaves two grandchildren.

AMANDA BETH WALLS TOWNSEND
1973-2012
HUNTINGDON: Amanda Beth Walls Townsend, 38, of Huntingdon died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Christian Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Rufus Chandler and Bro. Nickey McMinn officiated the service.
Mrs. Townsend was born September 12, 1973 in Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Melinda Gayle Stafford.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Aaron Gerald Townsend; two sons, John Clinton McCaig and Joseph Eugene McCaig, both of Huntingdon; her parents, Johnny and Bertha Walls of Cedar Grove; and one sister, Sandra Glover (Ezzie) of West Memphis, Arkansas. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

LUTHER EDWARD “PETE” LOINES
1925-2012
GLEASON: Luther Edward “Pete” Loines, 86, of Gleason, died Tuesday, May 29 at his residence. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Kenneth Jessee officiating. Burial followed at Tumbling Creek Cemetery in Gleason.
Mr. Loines was born October 25, 1925 in Dyersberg to the late James David Loines and Della (Franks) Loines. He was a retired factory worker.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Imogene (Jones) Loines, of Gleason.

RONALD LAWSON GARRETT
1944-2012
PARIS: Ronald Lawson “Ronnie” “Ron” Garrett, 67, of Edwardsburg, MI, died Thursday, May 31 at his residence. There were no funeral services.
Mr. Garrett was born October 17, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late Robert Garrett and Modelle Pennington Garrett. He was a member of Church of Christ and was a US Navy veteran, serving four years as a radar technician during Vietnam. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dixie Garrett; a brother, Bob Garrett; and a nephew.
He is survived by a sister, Diane (Mike) Shankle, of Springville; sister-in-law Betty Garrett, of Cottage Grove; a niece, of Paris; and five nephews, one of Paris, one of Gleason and two of Cottage Grove.

CLARA NELL STOKES WYATT
1917-2012
HUNTINGDON: Clara Nell Stokes “Auntie” Wyatt, 95, of Huntingdon, died Friday, May 25 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab. Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Burial followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Dan Winkler officiated the services.
Mrs. Wyatt was born February 25, 1917, in Benton County, to the late Vird and John Ella Harris Stokes. She was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ and a retired employee of Henry I. Siegel.
She is survived by a sister, Annie Mae Arnold; several nieces and nephews and special friend Dianne McKee.
