GINA DRANE ROSS JAILLIER
CLARKSVILLE: Gina Drane Ross Jaillier, 48, formerly of Gleason, died Sunday, December 25, 2011, at her residence. A memorial service is Saturday, December 31, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church with The Rev. Dorothy Hartzog and The Rev. Reynold "Mickey" Richaud officiating. Visitation will follow the service with a reception at the church.
Mrs. Jaillier was born November 7, 1963 in Paris. She was a program assistant with Clarksville Montgomery County Community Action Agency (Headstart Program). She was also a very active member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Gina had a great love for music; she was an accomplished pianist and singer.
Survivors include: her parents, Howard Ross and Shirley Collier Ross of Gleason; husband, Francisco Jaillier of Clarksville; a daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Lokey of Clarksville; and a brother, Charles (Debbie) Ross of Gleason.

JIMMY LYNN WHITEHEAD
TREZEVANT: Jimmy Lynn Whitehead, 52, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at VA Hospital in Memphis. A memorial service was Monday, December 26, at 2 p.m. at the Brummitt Funeral Home.
Mr. Whitehead was born May 11, 1959. He was a Navy veteran and Navy Corpsman, X-Ray Tech and computer repair man
Survivors include: his parents, Harold and Maxine Whitehead; one sister, Phyllis (David) Broach of Milan; and two nieces, Brittany (Logan) Harris and Amanda Broach.
MCKENZIE: Harold Gibson, 78, died Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A memorial service is Thursday, December 29, at 11 a.m. at First Methodist Church, McKenzie. Visitation will be Thursday, 9 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Gibson was born January 18, 1933 in Huntingdon to the late G.W. and Blanche Gibson. He was a member of First Methodist Church in McKenzie, a Korean War Army veteran, owner of Gibson Brick Company and also the Executive Director of McKenzie Industrial Board. Besides his parents he was preceded in death his sister, Dorothy Irby; and one brother, James Gibson.
Survivors include: his wife of 58 years, Joan M Gibson of McKenzie; and two brothers, David (Marjorie) Gibson of Huntingdon and Junior (Cathy) Gibson of McKenzie.

TREZEVANT: Beverly Arnold, 63, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Jackson General Hospital. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 27, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church with burial in Trezevant Cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold was born November 12, 1948 in Carroll County to the late Malone and Eva Gean Walker. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Trezevant. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kellan Walker.
Survivors include: her husband, Billy Arnold of Trezevant; two sons, Mark (Sally) Arnold of Trezevant and Adam Arnold of Trezevant; and four grandchildren, Kellan Arnold, Kassie Arnold, Alex Arnold and Olivia Arnold.

CHARLES E. MCCOLLUM
GREENFIELD: Charles Edward “Chainsaw” McCollum, 63, died Monday, December 19, 2011, at Regional Hospital of Jackson. Funeral services were Thursday, December 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield with Wayne Perkins officiating. Burial followed at Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City.
Mr. McCollum was born October 31, 1948 in Fayette, Alabama to the late Dallas Garvin McCollum and Nellie Mae Williams McCollum. Due to health, he retired after 36 years from Akin and Porter Produce as a truck driver. He was an Army 11th Calvary Vietnam veteran.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McCollum was preceded in death by a brother, Elmond McCollum, who died March 25, 1994.
Survivors include: his wife, Christine Flowers McCollum of Greenfield; two daughters, Kim Earls of Greenfield, and Carrie (Greg) Wilson of Trezevant; two sisters, Syble (Allen) Lowe of Hamilton, Alabama, and Elouise Warren of Winfield, Alabama; three brothers, Robert McCollum of Hamilton, Alabama, Kenneth McCollum of Hamilton, Alabama, and Dallas Gene McCollum of Greenfield; and two grandchildren, Kaleigh Wilson and Natalie Wilson of Trezevant; and a very special friend, Jerry (Poppa Mouse) Moss of Martin.
Pallbearers were Darrell Lowe, David Lowe, Derek Lucus, Chris Scott, Gary Stephens and Gary Fulcher.
Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Moss, Sam Flowers and Charley Flowers.
MARTHA ANN SANDERS
GLEASON: Martha Ann Sanders, 84, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at McKenzie Healthcare. Funeral services were Friday, December 23, at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Gleason with Bro. Tom Spellings officiating. Burial followed at Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason.
Mrs. Sanders was born August 13, 1927 in Gleason to the late Willie Claude Steele and Vernie (Phelps) Steele. She was the former owner of Steele Plant Co. Besides her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Sanders.
Survivors include: a son, Ken (Valerie) Sanders of Gleason; a daughter, Kay (Larry) Hudson of Gleason; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

EDNA A. (MORGAN) BURLESON
MCKENZIE: Edna A. (Morgan) Burleson died December 25, 2011 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services are Wednesday, December 28, in Alabama with burial there.
Mrs. Burleson was born November 11, 1917.
Survivors include: one son, Leon Burleson of Brilliant, Alabama; five daughters, Esther (John) Raper of Englewood, Tennessee, Clara (Bob) Baldwin of Loves Park, Illinois, Jimmie (Jim) Ridings of McKenzie, Sue (Clay) Langston of McKenzie and Judy Irwin of Paris; six grandsons, Frankie Winsetts of Tennessee, Jerry Stults, Bruce Baldwin, and Scott Baldwin, all of Illinois, and Nicky Irwin and Anthony Irwin, both of Tennessee; seven granddaughters, Rita Burke of Tennessee, Linda Kennedy and Pamela Pool, and Denise Chairez, all of Illinois, and Debbie Wakefield, Sheila Burleson and Sabrina Burleson, all of Alabama; and a lot of great-grandchildren.
JONATHAN LEE JEROME CARTER
HUNTINGDON: Jonathan Lee Jerome Carter, 24, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Funeral services were Friday, December 23, at 1 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Cox officiating. Burial followed in Humbles Cemetery.
Mr. Carter was born June 19, 1987 in McKenzie. He attended Huntingdon Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vilas Carter and Louise Carter.
Survivors include: four daughters, Olivia Paige Carter and Riley Elizabeth Carter, both of Huntingdon, Kileigha Nicole Carter and Adasion Zyir Carter, both of McKenzie; his mother, Tracey (David) Myles of Huntingdon; his father, Roy Lee Carter; two sisters, Kandra Jordan of Milan and Lorna Kee of Huntingdon; two brothers, Cassius Jordan and Roy Z. Carter, both of McKenzie; his maternal grandparents, Brenda and Thomas Parker of Huntingdon; and his great-grandmother, Ruth Jordan of Huntingdon.
MEMPHIS: Virginia Sneed, 87, died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at St. Francis Nursing Home in Memphis. Funeral services were Wednesday, December 28, at 1 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating. Burial followed in Bevil Cemetery in Paris.
Mrs. Sneed was born April 26, 1924 in McKenzie to the late Henry Taylor and Florence Williams Taylor. She formerly worked at Sunshine Nabisco in Chicago, Illinois, was a member of First Presbyterian Church in McKenzie and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Pleasant Sneed; and two sons, James Walter Sneed and Larry Wayne Sneed.
Survivors include: two daughters, Ruth (Sam) Morrison of Paris and Marie (Walter) Green of Eads, Tennessee; one sister, Stella (Donald) Yelverton of McKenzie; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
SHARON LEE RANDLE
CEDAR GROVE: Sharon Lee Randle, 62, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at her home. Graveside funeral services were Friday, December 23, at 2 p.m. at New Bethel Cemetery.
Mrs. Randle was born July 8, 1949 in Washington, D.C. to the late George Chester and Virginia Perry Chester. She was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service.
Survivors include: her husband of 43 years, N.T. (Danny) Randle; two sons, Daniel Randle of Red Banks, Mississippi and Taylor Randle of Cedar Grove; three daughters, Laurie Jones of McKenzie, Misty Patterson of Collierville and Shelby Beck of Cedar Grove; one brother, David Chester of Arlington, Tennessee; one sister, Cyndie Buck of Utah; and eight grandchildren.

PARIS: Peggy Kniker, 76, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Henry County Healthcare Center. Funeral services were Friday, December 23, at 11 a.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Joe McClure officiating. Burial followed in Bevil Cemetery in Paris.
Mrs. Kniker was born June 2, 1935 in Paris to the late John E. “Buck” Webb and Goldie Marie Sanders Webb. She formerly worked at Salant & Salant, Henry County Healthcare as a CNA and was a foster parent. She was a member of Open Doors Community Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Edward Kniker of Paris; two daughters, Patricia (Joe) McClure of Paris and Lisa (Mike) Evans of Puryear; two stepdaughters, Carol Schultz of Paragould, Arkansas and Theresa (Nick) Kemp of McKenzie; three sons, Donnie (Susan) Banks, Lynn (Janet) Banks and Johnny (Aurelia) Banks, all of Paris; three brothers, William E. Webb, James M. Webb, and Billy Joe Webb, all of Paris; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

MILDRED E. MANN
MCKENZIE: Mildred E. Mann, 92, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at Lakeside Retirement Center in McKenzie. Funeral services are Thursday, December 29, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mann was born January 13, 1919 to the late Luther and Gertrude Lifsy. She was co-owner of Mann’s Plant Farm. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Mann.
Visitation is Thursday from 12 p.m. until service time.
HUNTINGDON: Billy Perritt, 63, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services are Wednesday, December 21, at 1 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
Mr. Perritt was born October 14, 1948 in Vale. He was a former plant manager for New Generations Furniture and Gaines Manufacturing Company and member of Marboro Church of Christ. He loved to Bass fish, deer hunt, duck hunt and was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Max E. Perritt; and one brother, James Walter Perritt.
Survivors include: his wife of 45 years and one day, Linda Henry Perritt of Huntingdon; two sons, Jeff (Sharla) Perritt and Scotty (Stacey) Perritt, all of Huntingdon; his mother, Vera Perritt of Huntingdon; three sisters, Barbara (Ray) Woodard of Huntingdon, Mary Helen Smith of Florence, Alabama, and Bonnie (Eddie) Holladay of Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Tyler Max, Toxey, Maggie, Kourtney and a special friend, Danny “Joe Bob” Laster of McKenzie.
BOBBY JOE WINSTEAD
MCKENZIE: Bobby Joe Winstead, 69, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services were Monday, December 19, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with burial in Shiloh Cemetery in McKenzie.
Mr. Winstead was born September 4, 1942 in Carroll County to the late Edward and Annie Lee Williams Winstead. He was a maintenance superintendent for a printing company and a member of the VFW.
Survivors include: his wife, Frances Lucille Sawyers Winstead; three sons, Robert, Mickey and Chris Winstead, all of McKenzie; one daughter, Bobbie Jo (Michael) Riddick of McKenzie; one brother, Randy Moore of Paris; five grandchildren, Austin (Keliea) Winstead, Joseph Curtis, Jake Curtis, and Aiden Winstead, all of McKenzie, and Keith Winstead of Kentucky; and one great-grandchild, Hunter Joe Winstead.
REE BAKER BEDWELL
ARLINGTON, TEXAS: Ree Baker Bedwell, 91, formerly of Carroll County died Friday, December 9, 2011 in Arlington, Texas. Funeral services were Thursday, December 15, at 1 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Lathan McLean officiating. Burial followed in Palmer Shelter Cemetery.
Mrs. Bedwell was born July 2, 1920 in Humphrey County to the late Donnie Albert Baker and Carrie Hudson (Roberts) Baker. She was a homemaker and a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bedwell; and daughter, Ella Mae Lawson.
Survivors include: one son, Archie Bedwell of Grand Prairie, Texas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
MARY JOHNSON WILSON
MCKENZIE: Mary Johnson Wilson, 101, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at McKenzie Health Care. Funeral services were Saturday, December 17, at 11 a.m. at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Roberts and Bro. Jarrod Bailey officiating. Burial followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Wilson was born February 28, 1910 to the late Wiley and Susan Ada Pinkley Johnson. She was a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jessie Smith, Fannie Johnson and Martha Darnell.
Survivors include: one daughter, Martha “Billy” McCadams of McKenzie; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
WANDA JEAN LEWIS
MEMPHIS: Wanda Jean Lewis, 53, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Funeral services were Monday, December 19, at 12 noon at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home with burial in Leach Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery.
Miss Lewis was born December 24, 1957 in Carroll County to the late Larkin and Ruby Hood Lewis. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one aunt.
