CLAYTON COLEMAN
1920-2011
HUNTINGDON: Clayton Coleman, 91, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were Thursday, October 27, at 1 p.m. at Dilday–Carter Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Bradley officiating. Burial followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens
Mr. Coleman was born October 17, 1920 in Carroll County to the late Rufe Thomas Coleman and Zelma Barker Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a millwright having worked at the Atomic Energy Plant at Paducah, Kentucky, the Nasa Space Center in Florida, the Department of Defense, the Barkley Dam in Kentucky and the Consolidated Aluminum Plant in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. He attended the Church of God in Milan with his daughter and her family and was a member of the Democratic Committee, where he loved to discuss politics. He retired at the age of 50 and enjoyed working on his farm.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years whom he married on April 5, 1947, Mrs. Pattye Coleman, who passed away June 28, 2010; two brothers, Gordon Coleman and Raymond Coleman; and a sister, Alma Coleman.
Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mark Gregor, of Huntingdon; three grandchildren, Matthew Coleman (Brittany) Gregory, Anna Maria Pierce Gregory and Kyle Andrew Gregory.

HERMAN “BUSTER” DELANEY
1933-2011
MCKENZIE: Herman “Buster” Delaney, 78, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. Funeral services were Saturday, October 29, at 11 a.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Carr officiating. Burial followed in Caledonia Cemetery.
Mr. Delaney was born February 18, 1933 in Lobleville, Tennessee to the late Reuben and Nellie Prince Delaney. He was retired from Consolidated Aluminum in New Johnsonville and a member of Long Heights Baptist Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Isabelle Morris; and a twin brother, Thurman Delaney.
Survivors include: his wife, Margie Ingram Delaney of McKenzie; a daughter, Martha Story of Waverly, Tennessee; two sons, Keith (Sam) Delaney of Trinity, Alabama and Chris (Misty) Delaney of Huntingdon; a brother, Willie B. Turner of Lobleville; six grandchildren, Tyler Delaney, Haley Hubble, Kirstie Terry, Joseph Delaney, Brian Delaney and Jakob Delaney.

R.J. GRIFFIN
1925-2011
TREZEVANT: R.J. Griffin, 85, died, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Jackson General Hospital. Funeral services were Monday, October 31, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home, Trezevant, with burial in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mr. Griffin was born December 28, 1925 in Weakley County to the late Rollie and Mae Griffin. He was a member of First Methodist Church, Atwood and a self-employed heavy equipment operator. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Cardwell and Purlean Hames.
Survivors include: his wife, Doris Griffin; one son, Ronald (Alesia) Griffin of Trezevant; two granddaughters, Amber (Dustin) Campbell and Erin (Kevin) Ramsey; and three great-grandchildren, Ashton Campbell, Brooklynn Campbell and Emmitt Ramsey.

MARY ELIZABETH KEE
1939-2011
MCKENZIE: Mary Elizabeth Kee, 72, died Monday, October 24, 2011. Funeral services were Wednesday, October 26, at 2 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ with Jim Roberts officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Kee was born February 6, 1939 in Huntingdon to the late Lyle Townsend and Cora Kelley Townsend. She worked for Charter Communications as a customer service representative/secretary.
Survivors include: her husband, Harold Kee of McKenzie; three daughters, Betsy (David) Perkins of Jackson, Beverly (Chris) Williams of Greenfield and Wendy Kee of Gunersville, Alabama; and one brother, Jerry Townsend of Gleason.

EVELYINE HILLSMAN
1925-2011
ROSSER: Evelyine Hillsman, 86, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at her home. Funeral services were Thursday, October 27, at 1 p.m. at New Reedy Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth J. Hillsman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hillsman was born May 4, 1925 in Carroll County to the late John Ira Simmons and Anner (Nesbitt) Simmons. She was a homemaker and a member of New Reedy Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lotee Hillsman; two sisters, Onie Mae Luther and Rosie Mitchell; four brothers, Felix “Jack” Simmons, Artis Simmons, James “Kootie” Simmons and Odell “Duke” Simmons.
Survivors include: two daughters, Virginia (J.C.) Dupree of Rosser and Janice Williams of Huntingdon; three sons, Leon (Sandra) Hillsman of McLemoresville, Rev. Kenneth (Ruby) Hillsman of Huntingdon and Terence (Tiffany) Hillsman of Manchester; 16 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

NELLIE CHRISTINE HOLLINGSWORTH
1946-2011
BRUCETON: Nellie Christine Hollingsworth, 65, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Lifecare Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were Saturday, October 29, at 2 p.m. at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden with Bro. Bill Douglas officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Camden.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was born June 19, 1946 in Carroll County to the late Virgil Robert Rogers and Lula Bell Weathers Rogers. She was a homemaker and member of Galilee General Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Hollingsworth, Jr.; and one brother, Gene Rogers.
Survivors include; three daughters, Janie (Bendell) Ellis of McKenzie, Sandra (Jeff) Ray and Peggy (Greg) Baker, both of Bruceton; two sons, Mark (Crystal) Hollingsworth and Paul (Dawn) Hollingsworth, both of Bruceton; three sisters, Billy Morris, Polly McEwen and Ethel (William) Norden, all of Bruceton; three brothers, Willie Frank Rogers and Cordell Rogers, both of Bruceton; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

MINUS HAROLD PARSLEY
1922-2011
GLEASON: Minus Harold Parsley, 89, died Monday, October 31, 2011 at Jackson Madison County Hospital. Funeral services are Wednesday, November 2, at 2 p.m. at Sandhill Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
Mr. Parsley was born June 30, 1922 in Dresden to the late Dupree Parsley and Alice (Hodges) Parsley. He was a farmer, U.S. Army WW II veteran, and deacon at Sandhill Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Dora Parsley and Marjorie (Ingram) Parsley.
Survivors include: two sons, Joel Parsley and Randy Parsley, both of McKenzie; one daughter, Mary Alice Crocker of Savannah; one brother, Robert Parsley of Dresden; one sister, Hattie Johnson of Gleason; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason.

ROLAND SCOTT MCCULLAR
WATER VALLEY, MISSISSIPPI: Roland Scott McCullar, 88, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Yalobusha General Hospital. Funeral services were Sunday, October 23, at 2 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Sprayberry officiating. Burial followed at Pinecrest Cemetery in Yalobusha County.
Mr. McCullar was born December 13, 1922 in Pope, Mississippi to the late James Clifton and Medora Kirkland McCullar, He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and came back home to work as a bookkeeper at Rice Stix in Water Valley, Mississippi. He retired as a Chevrolet Dealership Business Manager after 20 years in Dresden and McKenzie. He was a member of the Water Valley VFW Post, #4100 and was a member of the American Legion in Dresden..
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Scott McCullar; a stepson, John Coker; two sisters, Betty Rhodes and Mildred Tubbs; three brothers, James McCullar, Henry McCullar, and Arthur Gaines McCullar; and one grandson, Tony Rhea Watkins.
Survivors include: his wife, Bertha Coker McCullar of Water Valley, Mississippi; one daughter, Sue (Bill) Ray of Union City; a stepson, Bob Coker of Water Valley, Mississippi; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

FRANCES LEE BLAZER VINSON
1918-2011
MCLEMORESVILLE: Frances Lee Blazer Vinson, 93, died Monday, October 17, 2011 at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services were Wednesday, October 19, at 1 p.m. at White Rose Cemetery in Gibson with Bro. Willard Chandler officiating.
Mrs. Vinson was born July 6, 1918 in Gibson County to the late James H. Blazer and Stella Mae (Haley) Blazer. She was a retired factory worker for Wilker Brothers and a member of McLemoresville Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis M. Vinson; two sisters, Katherine McCollum and Dorothy Cox; two brothers, Eugene Blazer and Leon Blazer; and one grandson, Paul A. Jones, Jr.
Survivors include: two daughters, Helen Wilson of Mc Lemoresville and Retha Drehman of Atwood; one son, Dale Vinson of McLemoresville; three sisters, Annie Cook of Bruceton, Ruth Jenkins of Milan and Olivia Bowen of Mc Kenzie; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

BRUCETON: Corinne Thomas, 88, died October 22, 2011 at her home. Funeral services were Tuesday, October 25, at 1 p.m. at Mixie Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Boyd officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was born September 19, 1923 in Carroll County to the late Joseph Newton Fields and Maude Eloria (Lowrance) Fields. She was a retired factory worker for the H.I.S. Company and a member of Mixie Missionary Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Thomas; one daughter, Patricia Marchesi; one grandson, Michael David Thomas; one granddaughter, Treasia Barker; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: four daughters, Barbara (John) Walker of Lake City, Florida, Janice (Al) Prell of Cleveland, Ohio, Judy Barnhart of Jackson, and Nancy (Roland) Barnhart of Bruceton; two sons, Jackie (Brenda) Thomas of Huntingdon and Noel (Linda) Thomas of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Margaret Louneat Valencic of Lake City, Florida; and one brother, Eugene Fields of Gary, Indiana; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

PARIS: Elizabeth Rose Grace, stillborn, died Friday, October 14, 2011 at Henry County Medical in Paris. Graveside services were Monday, October 17, at Liberty Methodist Church in McKenzie with Mike Doede officiating.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Grace, and great-grandfather, Slim Swafford.
Survivors include: her parents, Chris and Jennifer Grace of Paris; two brothers, Jacob Payne and Casey Grace, and one sister, Ciera Grace; grandparents, Ricky and Karen Blankenship of McKenzie and Vicky Grace of Michigan; and great-grandparents, Ruth Kemp of McKenzie, Carol Bostwich of Michigan and Kay McAllister of California.

1926-2011
HUNTINGDON: Dora Lee Webb, 85, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at her home. Funeral services were Friday, October 21, at 2 p.m. at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Halter officiating. Burial followed in Jamison Cemetery.
Mrs. Webb was born May 19, 1926 in Vale to the late Irvin Reed and Ollie Lee (Harris) Reed. She was a retired employee of Modern Cleaners and a member of Westport Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin J. Webb; three brothers, Alton Reed, Enloe Reed, and Wilburn Ray Reed; two sisters, Willodean Reed and Ruth Nell Reed.
Survivors include: one daughter, Vickie Todd of Huntingdon; one son, James “Buck” (Alice) Webb of Huntingdon; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

MCKENZIE: Bonnie Lee Rainey, 59, died Saturday, October 23, 2011, at her home. Funeral services were Sunday, October 24, 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with burial in Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery near Lavinia.
Mrs. Rainey was born February, 1952, to the late Alvis and Clara Lee Potts. She was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church and a retired convenience store manager. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Potts and Bobby Potts; and one sister, Betty Hollingsworth.
Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy Rainey; two sons, Jason (Mary Jane) Rainey and Keith Allen (Angela) Rainey of McKenzie; four daughters, Tammy Lee (Michael) Knobloch of, McKenzie, Tracy (Robert) Jenks of McKenzie, Kellie Norene (Herb) Saylor of Nashville and Beth LeAnne Rainey of McKenzie; two brothers, Barry (Vivian) Potts of Humboldt and Gene (LouAnne) Potts of McKenzie; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

HENRY: Doyle Wayne Stutzman, 53, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. Funeral services are Thursday, October 27, at 10 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with burial in Bevil Cemetery in Paris.
Mr. Stutzman was born June 27, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. He formerly worked for Servall and 30 years with Tank Lining of Paris and was a Baptist.
Survivors include: his wife, Treva Harper Stutzman of Henry; his father, Glenn Stutzman of Paris; his mother, Sara Brewer Dailey of McKenzie; one daughter, Crystal Stutzman of Henry; one son, Brian Stutzman of Paris; two brothers, Bob (Suzette) Stutzman of Paris and Jerry Stutzman of Paris; and two grandchildren.

Services for Mary Elizabeth Kee, 72, of McKenzie are Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie, Tenn.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 25, beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until service time.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Kee of McKenzie, Tenn.; three daughters, Betsy (David) Perkins of Jackson, Tenn., Beverly (Chris) Williams of Greenfield, Tenn., and Wendy Kee of Gunersville, Ala.; one brother, Jerry Townsend of Gleason, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lyle and Cora Townsend. Also preceding her in death were two sisters and two brothers, Helen Coleman, Betty Rainey, Neal and Roy Townsend.
