MARY ELLEN HUFFSTETLER
GREENFIELD: Mary Ellen Huffstetler, 61, died Monday, December 20, 2010. Funeral services were Wednesday, December 22, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield with Dr. Roy Whaley and Rev. Tim Foster officiating. Burial followed in Highland Cemetery in Greenfield.
Mrs. Huffstetler was born October 25, 1949 in Greenfield. She worked as a teacher for the Weakley County school system for 34 years and attended First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Elam.
Survivors include: her husband, James Randy Huffstetler of Greenfield; one son, Randy (Sherri) Huffstetler of Greenfield; one daughter, Jennifer Huffstetler (Chris) Beets of Knoxville; her mother, Rachel (Baird) Elam of Greenfield; two sisters, Kay (Danny) Perry of Greenfield and Faye (Dale) Garrett of McKenzie; three brothers, Jack Ray (Bonnie) Elam of McKenzie, Dan (Mitzi) Elam of Greenfield, and Jim (Pat) Elam of Sharon; and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a scholarship fund in memory of Mary Ellen Huffstetler at Greenfield Banking Company.

MADELYN CHANDLER FRUTIGER
MARTIN: Madelyn Chandler Frutiger, 80, formerly of McKenzie, died Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Martin Health Care. Graveside services were Thursday, December 23, at 12 noon at Public Cemetery of Cullman in Cullman, Alabama with Rev. Wayne Milam officiating.
Mrs. Frutiger was born November 24, 1930 in Hollow Rock to the late James Roy Chandler and Verlie Mae Brown Chandler. She was a retired store manager for Family Dollar Stores, Inc. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul Frutiger; two daughters, Judy E. Jones and Carol Jean Blane; a grandchild, Chris Peebles; and a great-grandchild, Kendyl Hogan.
Survivors include: one sister, Jean Ridley of McKenzie; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Murphy Funeral Home of Martin was in charge of the arrangements.
ROBERT N. (BUDDY) BARKER
MCKENZIE: Robert N. (Buddy) Barker, 47, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at his home. There will be no services at this time. The family has selected cremation, and services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Barker was born in Camden to the late Robert and Jane Higgason Barker. He was formerly employed at E.W. James & Sons supermarket.
Survivors include: one daughter, Leslie Barker of Dresden; one sister, Tina Barker of Paris and one half-brother, Michael Pratt of Camden.

WILLIAM SHERRILL PRATT
MCKENZIE: William Sherrill Pratt, 73, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. Funeral services were Thursday, December 23, at 11 a.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Howell Gossett and Bro. Freddie McDaniel, Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Republican Grove Cemetery near Trezevant.
Mr. Pratt was born September 16, 1937 in Trezevant. He was retired from the Milan Arsenal Ammunition Plant, a former City of McKenzie Parts Department workers, former member of the Carroll County Rescue Squad, an owner of a small engine repair shop, member of Concord Baptist Church, and member of Tennessee Army National Guard for nine years. He was preceded in death by his father, William Leroy "Bill" Pratt.
Survivors include: his wife of almost 51 years, Jane Foster Pratt of McKenzie; two daughters, Ginger (Billy) Phifer and Becky Riggs, both of McKenzie; one son, Brian (Jennifer) Pratt of McKenzie; his mother, Jane Montez Blackburn Pratt of McKenzie; one sister, Jane (Kenny) Carrell of McKenzie; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
JAMES MURIEL KENDALL
HUNTINGDON: James Muriel Kendall, 87, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services were Thursday, December 23, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Buena Vista with Bro. Roger Cooper officiating. Burial followed in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock with military honors.
Mr. Kendall was born July 2, 1923 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas to the late Oscar Kendall and Elisa McCormack Kendall. He was a retired maintenance man for Gridley's, WW II Marine Corp veterans and a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tammie Marie Goodwin and Kenny Kendall.
Survivors include: his wife, Frances Pauline Greenway Kendall; two daughters, Carolyn Ann (Jimmy) Carter and Janet (T. Richard) Goodwin; three sons, Jimmy Dale Kendall, Roger Lamar (Jo) Kendall and Ronnie Kendall; one sister, Charlene Sanders; one brother, Layfette Kendall; 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

BUENA VISTA: Donnie Ray Williams, 50, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at his home. Funeral services were Monday, December 27, at 1 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Noles officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Benton County.
Mr. Williams was born November 4, 1960 in Carroll County to the late L.T. and Lucille (Jordan) Williams. He had served in the National Guard and was a mechanic. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Williams.
Survivors include: his wife of 15 years, Gloria (Warbritton) Williams; two daughters, Tabitha (Tracy) Pickard of Nashville and Amanda Williams of Buena Vista; one stepdaughter, Heather Overall of Buena Vista; one stepson, Shannon Overall of Huntingdon; two sisters, Ann (Robert) Dodson of Big Sandy and Sue (Henry) Douglas of Wildersville; six brothers, Billy (Peggy) Williams of Bruceton, Joe (Brenda) Williams, Larry (Debby) Williams, Darrell (Anita) Williams, all of Huntingdon, Robert (Tina) Williams and Tim (Gina) Williams, both of Hollow Rock.
WELDON RAY "BW" BOWERS
HENRY: Weldon Ray "BW" Bowers, 72, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at his farm in Henry. Funeral services were Monday, December 27, at 11 a.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gary S. Collier officiating. Burial followed in Henry Cemetery.
Mr. Bowers was born November 30, 1938 in Henry County to the late Weldon A. Bowers and Mary Elizabeth Dunlap Bowers. He was a graduate of Henry High School, livestock dealer, attended Henry Baptist Church and served in the Tennessee National Guard.
Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Ann Bevill Bowers; one daughter, Tammy (Barry) Revel of Henry; three sisters, Rebecca (James) Aldridge and Willie Ruth (Jerry) Miller, both of McKenzie, and Judy (Mike) Moore of Michie; one brother. Bobby C. (Jettie) Bowers of McKenzie; one grandson and two step-grandsons.
MCKENZIE: Autis Langley, 89, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 28, at 2 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Allen officiating. Burial followed in Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Langley was born October 1, 1921 in Trezevant to the late Elvis Carlton and Izzie Argo Langley. He was a retired store clerk for McKenzie Auto Parts and E.W. James. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jeff White; one stepson, Tommy Rayburn; three brothers, J.L. White, Johnny White, and Robert Langley; and two sisters, Mary Lee Smith and Rosa Lee Matlock.
Survivors include: his wife, Fannie Langley of McKenzie; one son, Gary Langley of McKenzie; one stepson, Wayne Pounds of McKenzie; one brother, Bill White of Oakland, Mississippi; one sister, Dorothy Sutton of Chattanooga; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
BESSIE ARLENE HOLLOWAY
MCKENZIE: Bessie Arlene Holloway, 83, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at her home. Funeral services are Wednesday, December 29, at 2 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mrs. Holloway was born October 30, 1927 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Lamoine and Marie Zigler. She was a retired seamstress and former restaurant owner and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.R. Holloway; and one brother, Lawrence Zigler.
Survivors include: two sons, Ricky Holloway of Paris and Randy Holloway of Dyer; two daughters, Diane Johnson of McKenzie and Rae Lynn Verner of Camden; one sister, Berneal McKinnie of McKenzie; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
VIRGINIA V. FRANKLIN
MCKENZIE: Virginia V. Franklin, 91, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 28, at Williams Funeral Home of Greenfield with Wayne Perkins officiating. Burial followed in Hornbeak Cemetery in Greenfield.
Mrs. Franklin was born April 4, 1919 to the late Abner Williams and Lena Bland. She worked as a caretaker and attended Bethel Baptist Church in McKenzie. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Franklin.
Survivors include one granddaughter and one grandson.
MARY E. (BUBBA) WADDLE
MCKENZIE: Mary E. (Bubba) Waddle, 88, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services are Thursday, December 30, 11 a.m. at McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in Shiloh Cemetery.
Mrs. Waddle was born in Brooksville, Mississippi to the late Walter and Carrie Dotherow. She was a librarian for McKenzie High School for over 30 years and member of McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. L.C. Waddle; three sisters, Juanita Ewing, Alma Harper and Christine Lynn; and one brother, Autrey Dotherow.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Williams of Paris; two sons, John (Ann) Waddle of Clarksville and Walter (Carla) Waddle of McKenzie; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday at Brummitt Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

MCKENZIE: Jewell Lee Engelhardt Throgmorton, 91, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at McKenzie Healthcare Center. Funeral services are Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery near Henry.
Mrs. Throgmorton was born in Elbridge, Tennessee to the late Peter and Leila Herlong Engelhardt. She was a homemaker and member of Grace Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie J. Throgmorton; two sisters, Pat Jashiniski and Dorothy Throgmorton; and two brothers, John Engelhardt and Calvin Engelhardt.
Survivors include; two daughters, Mildred Partin of Mukwonago, Wisconsin and Marline Mueller of Franklin, North Carolina; three sons, Ollie Throgmorton of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Jack Throgmorton of Mukwonago, Wisconsin and Jerry Throgmorton of Lakeland, Florida; two sisters, Alva Durkee of Milwaukie, Wisconsin and Alice Everson of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; four brothers, Edward Engelhardt of Indiana, Paul Engelhardt of Milwaukie, Wisconsin, Henry Engelhardt of Milwaukie, Wisconsin and Earl Engelhardt of Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
