Today is the last day to submit applications to have a float or walking unit in the 61st annual Adoration Celebration on December 6th. Each year, the Adoration Parade through downtown Branson and Branson Landing is a highlight of Ozark Mountain Christmas. Participants can enter in religious and non-religious categories, and while commercial businesses may take part, advertising is not allowed. New this year is the Spirit of Christmas category. A 400 dollar award will be given to the organization that best exemplifies the true spirit of the Adoration Celebration. The annual Adoration Parade is held in the evening, following the ceremonial lighting of the Adoration Scene atop Mt. Branson.
