An eager crowd gathered for the official kick-off of the Branson Area Festival of Lights last night. Characters from Silver Dollar City's Gifts of Christmas Holiday Light Parade made their way through the crowd, greeting children, and children at heart. Branson Mayor Raeanne Presley spoke to the crowd about Branson's Christmas spirit...

Santa and Mrs. Claus were also on hand to greet the young and young at heart. Providing some holiday music were the Missouri Kids singers who wowed everyone with their version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

The Festival of Lights drive-through is located just off Shepherd of hte Hills Expressway and Roark Valley Road on Expressway Lane. Follow the signs to the entrance located  just across from the Sight and Sound Theater.

The drive-through is open from dusk until 11 p.m. until January 2nd.

Family Vehicles - $10
