A release from the Taney County Commission says Coon Creek Road will be closed to through traffic starting at 8 o'clock Thursday morning, until construction is completed in mid-December. Local traffic will be able to access their homes with one lane remaining open for their use. Construction to improve Coon Creek Road includes left-turn lanes at both ends, on East Highway 76 near Kirbyville and on BB Highway near Hollister schools. The project is expected to take about 6 weeks. Again, Coon Creek Road closed to through traffic starting at 8 o'clock Thursday morning until construction is finished.
