Western Taney County fire crews quickly knocked down a vehicle fire during the 5 o'clock hour at a restaurant in Ridgedale. Just after 5 p.m., firefighters were called to 2841 State Highway 86 to a report of a vehicle fire in the parking lot of 86 Bistro. Initial reports indicated the fully-engulfed vehicle was located very close to the restaurant, possibly threatening the structure.

Around 5:30 p.m., crews had extinguished the flames with minimal damage to the restaurant building, according to firefighters on scene. The cause of the fire in unknown at this time.
