6th Grade Teacher Has Education Down to a “Science”!

Her students describe her as “awesome” and that “she rocks” and all agree that she makes learning fun!  “She” is Tricia Weydert a 6th grade teacher at Reeds Spring Intermediate.      Mrs. Weydert has been named Hometown Radio‘s Ozark Mountain Bank Teacher of the Month for December.  Mrs. Weydert’s earth sciences classroom (complete with gorgeous blue sky and puffy white clouds on the ceiling) served as the backdrop for the Teacher of the month party and presentation.  She and her class enjoyed multiple slices of delicious Luigi’s pizza and refreshments from Harter House, along with gifts from Ozark Mountain Bank, Dunkin Donuts, Discovery Center of Springfield, Branson Titanic Museum Attraction, Famous Dave’s BBQ and Andy’s Frozen Custard.  Mrs. Weydert also received the beautiful commemorative plaque, created by Sherry at The Sign Man.

Those attending the pizza party included:  Mrs. Weydert and her 6th grade homeroom class; Reeds Spring Intermediate Principal Mrs. Jodi Gronvold; Mandy Jordan from Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen;  Roger Frieze and Erica Dees from Ozark Mountain Bank, Brent Bartman from Famous Dave’s BBQ and Hometown Radio’s Joan Deberry and Janet Ellis.

If you know of a deserving educator in the area, nominate them for the Ozark Mountain Bank Teacher of the Month.   Letters can be emailed to Janet Ellis @krzk.com or mailed to or dropped by Hometown Radio, 202 Courtney, Branson, 65616.  Tell who you are nominating, where they teach and why they should be named as our Teacher of the Month.
