2nd Graders are Proud of their Great Teacher!

When we stopped by the Branson Elementary West 2nd grade classroom of Erin Ipock to have our Ozark Mountain Bank Teacher of the month party, both the teacher and the students looked familiar.  There was a good reason.  The previous day they had been to our place on a tour of Hometown Radio as a part of the yearly 2nd grade field trip to area businesses.

Mrs. Ipock was named our April Ozark Mountain Bank Teacher of the Month and she and the students were almost giddy with excitement as we set up the pizza party and presentation.  Mrs. Ipock had been nominated by a number of students and parents to receive this honor.  The compliments ranged from “she so nice and patient” to “she continuously encourages each and every student with her kind words and love.”  Plenty of “oohs and aahs” were overheard as Mandy from Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen served the delicious pizza and later, for dessert, everyone enjoyed the celebratory Dunkin Donuts from Robin and her staff.

Mrs. Ipock and the 2nd graders were treated to gifts and certificates from the program’s sponsors: Ozark Mountain Bank, Branson Titanic Museum Attraction, Discovery Center of Springfield, Famous Dave’s BBQ and Dunkin Donuts and Mrs. Ipock was presented with the beautiful “Joy of Learning” plaque created by The Sign Man.

In addition to the honoree and her class, others hand for this great party were:  Branson Elementary West Principal Mike Dawson; Ozark Mountain Bank’s Roger Frieze; Mandy Jordan from Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen, representing Branson Titanic Museum Attraction were Kristina Hagey and First Class Maid Jamie, Brent Bartmann from Famous Dave’s BBQ; several class Moms and Hometown Radio’s Joan Deberry and Janet Ellis.

The Ozark Mountain Bank Teacher of the month is a program produced by Branson’s Hometown Radio to acknowledge the positive and passionate educators in our area who go above and beyond to inspire and motivate our children who truly are our leaders of tomorrow.
