English Teacher Has the “Write” Stuff!

This month’s Ozark Mountain bank Teacher of the month pizza party was a first…it was a “breakfast” pizza party!   Students in Mrs. Julie Schreffler’s 2nd hour high school College Prep English class, nominated this super teacher for a number of reasons including: “she is always willing to help her students become the best writers they can be and she knows how to make class fun while teaching.”  So, in order to accommodate the schedule of Mrs. Schreffler and her 8:20am class, we celebrated in her room with delicious breakfast pizzas and quiche from Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen and a wonderful variety of donuts from Dunkin Donuts.

Mrs. Schreffler and her class of seniors and one junior seemed a bit surprised at all the attention that goes along with the Ozark Mountain Bank Teacher of the month party.  In addition to the pizza and donuts, Mrs. Schreffler was presented a beautiful commemorative plaque from The Sign Man and she and the class received gifts and certificates from Ozark Mountain Bank, Branson Titanic Museum Attraction, Famous Dave’s BBQ, Discovery Center of Springfield, Dunkin Donuts and Luigi’s Pizza Kitchen.  The Harter House also provided products and refreshments for the event.

Others on hand to enjoy the party included:  Branson High School Principal Chip Arnette and Assistant Principal Michelle Brenner; Roger Frieze and Mike Booth from Ozark Mountain Bank (Mike Booth is also a member of the Branson School Board); Kristina Hagey and First Class Maid Jamie from the Branson Titanic Museum Attraction, Famous Dave’s BBQ’s Brent Bartman: BHS Student Teacher; Jordan Alexander, Major James Schreffler and from Hometown Radio Joan Deberry and Janet Ellis.
